How does Climate change affect Antarctica?
The warming of the Antarctic Peninsula is causing changes to the physical and living environment of Antarctica. The distribution of penguin colonies has changed as the sea ice conditions alter. Large changes have occurred in the ice cover of the Peninsula. Many glaciers have retreated and ice shelves that formerly fringed the Peninsula have been observed to retreat in recent years and some have collapsed completely.
The impact on various animal species.
Some animals in Antarctica are struggling to survive due to the impacts of climate change & global warming. Even small changes in the conditions are enough to have serious impacts.
In the Arctic a whole ecosystem relies on the presence of sea-ice. From the plankton that live on the bottom on the sea ice and all the way up to harp seals and polar bears. Walrus are having a harder time as they rely on sea-ice floating close to land on which to haul out. As this sea-ice disappears some walrus pups drown at sea and others are crushed to death during stampedes on crowded beaches.
The potential impact of ice melting on the rest of the world.
If the ice in Antarctica were to melt this would create Earth's sea levels to increase rather dramatically.
The increase of the sea levels would then potentially force certain continents or land to fall under the water.
So as a conclusion of the impact, it could kill people, would force the survivors to be transported over to another country thus creating over population and simply the sea's water levels would be too high.
Recommendations to prevent Climate Change.

Recommendations to prevent Climate Change.
- Buy food and other products with reusable or recyclable packaging.
- Leave your car at home. (Walk, take public transport or ride your bike).
- Regularly clean the air conditioner filters and air vents in your home.
